We will be returning to our roots for the last painting class of 2025!
In this 2 hour art class we will go over how to approach painting a botanical subject with acrylic paint. The class will begin with students choosing their own plant from around the shop or flower from a boutique to paint. This will be a cozy guided art session that will include traditional botanical illustration techniques, color theory to create natural tones with a focus on greens and labeling our illustration at the end. This class will be beginner oriented but all skill levels are welcome to attend. By the end of the class you will go home with a finished roughly 6 x 8 inch botanical illustration of your very own.
All art supplies will be provided including loose canvas, paint, brushes, glass palettes and water but please feel free to bring your own sketchbook or preferred supplies.
