✶ Wednesday August 6th from 6pm - 8pm(ish) ✶
In this two hour art class we will go over how to approach painting an organic subject with acrylic paint. Students will use plants from the store as references as well as other foraged specimen from the local forest. This will be a cozy guided art session that will include traditional scientific illustration techniques, color theory and labeling. This class will be beginner oriented but all skill levels are welcome to attend. By the end of the class you will go home with a finished roughly 5 x 7 inch botanical illustration of your own.
All art supplies will be provided including loose canvas or watercolor paper, paint, brushes, glass palettes and water but please feel free to bring your own nature journal, sketchbook, preferred supplies or specimen you want to paint.
10 person limit.
Mature children ages 10 and up may attend with an accompanying adult!
